FARGO (KFGO-AM) - A Mayville, ND man claims he sustained "serious and permanent" eye injuries during a North Dakota Army National Guard recruiting event.
A federal lawsuit says Joshua Seminario was injured while attending what's known as "Attack Ball" at Mayville State University. The complaint says Seminario was struck in the right eye by a paintball fired by one of the participants.
The lawsuit claims the government failed to give spectators proper warnings and protective eye gear.
The lawsuit seeks “in excess of $75,000”. A tort claims letter written to the Army by Seminario’s attorney asks for $1,000,000.
