FARGO (KFGO-AM) -- The jury in the Aaron Knodel sexual misconduct trial will go back to work Tues morning as it decides whether it believes the suspended West Fargo High School teacher had a relationship with a student, who was 17 at the time.
The jury met for a little more than four hours Monday. Knodel has denied that he did anything wrong and was only trying to help a troubled student with family and personal issues.
The prosecution argues that 93 phone calls and 93 notes left in a book that she claims she gave to knodel suggest there was more than just a teacher-student relationship between them.
The defense questions the conclusions of a handwriting expert who testified that writing samples from the notes and school work are similar.
