MOORHEAD (KFGO-AM) -- Just a couple more days remain in the effort to raise private dollars for a sidewalk art and poetry project in Moorhead. The goal is $14,000.
"Monday at 5:30 p.m. is when we'll be meeting with the city council to let them know our progress and also talk to them about the local and business support that we've gathered in the last two weeks so they can feel comfortable that it's a project that the community wants" Mara Morken of the mayor's art advisory group said.
The project would imprint art and poetry on concrete sidewalks along Main and Center Avenues that are part of a street reconstruction project this summer.
The project still needs to final council approval to move forward.
