FARGO (KFGO-AM) -- The defense is presenting its case in the sexual misconduct trial of Aaron Knodel.
His attorney has put 13 people on the witness stand, mostly former students and current West Fargo High School teachers. They all testified to his professionalism and the special interest he took in helping students succeed. They told the jury that they never saw Knodel act inappropriately toward any students.
Under cross examination, None of the former students said they had any extensive communication with Knodel outside the classroom.
Previous testimony has shown that there were 93 calls between Knodel and the ex-student who made the sexual relationship claims. One of the calls was late-night and lasted four hours.
