MANVEL, NORTH DAKOTA (KFGO-AM) -- Reduced visibility due to smoke from wildfires led to a 10-vehicle pileup on I-29 in Walsh County Wednesday afternoon. It happened south of Minto.
Eight people were hurt. The North Dakota Highway Patrol says injuries ranged from minor to critical.
Two semis also collided about a mile from that scene. The drivers were not hurt.
Troopers shut down the interstate for a couple of hours until visibility lifted.
