FARGO, N.D. (AP)  A judge says a 69-year-old man convicted of running an illegal bookmaking operation in North Dakota must serve an additional four months in prison on top of a current sentence he is serving in Minnesota.

Gerald Greenfield, of Bloomington, Minnesota, pleaded guilty in January to interstate transmittal of wagering information and conspiracy to commit money laundering.

Greenfield is serving a 68-month prison term in Minnesota, including 50 months on money laundering conviction and 18 months because he walked away from a federal prison camp in Duluth.

Prosecutors asked that Greenfield receive an additional 27 months on the North Dakota charges. Greenfield's lawyer said the Minnesota sentence should be sufficient.

U.S. District Judge Ralph Erickson tacked on an additional four months and ordered Greenfield to pay back $250,000.
