FARGO (KFGO-AM) -- The trial for a suspended West Fargo High School teacher charged with having a sexual relationship with a student is now set for later this month.
A dispute over handwriting experts had led to a delay in the case against Aaron Knodel. Another trial was scheduled ahead of Knodel's, but that case has been delayed. Defense attorney Bob Hoy says he's been told that the trial will begin Apr. 21.
Last month, the judge indicated that the trial may have to be put off until June. Knodel was suspended after charges were filed last August. The girl claims the relationship took place about five years ago when she was 17.
