BISMARCK (KFGO-AM) -- Todd Tschosik has resigned.
The Bismarck teacher and former boyfriend of State Superintendent of Public Instruction Kirsten Baesler had been put on two-days of leave after appearing on KFGO's "News and Views" earlier this week.
School officials say Tschosik's interview during his paid 8-hour work day was a violation of school district policy. Tschosik was interviewed by Joel Heitkamp Tuesday about a confrontation with Baesler that led to her arrest for domestic assault. The charge against Baesler was later dropped.
Bismarck Public Schools Community Relations Director Renae Walker says the resignation will be formalized by the school board on Monday.
