GRAND FORKS (KFGO-AM) -- Grand Forks Police are urging parents to keep an eye on their children's internet activity and watch for signs of drugs. They say parents should look for small pieces of tinfoil, straw shaped devices, baggies, white powdery substances, any other suspicious looking items or unusual behavior.
The warning comes after a number of drug overdoses and even deaths in the community in recent months.
Police say the victims of these overdoses have typically obtained their drugs over the internet.
