MOORHEAD, Minn. (KFGO-AM) - Court documents say a Sabin, Minn. man accused of setting fire to his home in February told investigators he intentionally started the blaze.
Fifty-one-year-old Jon Lague is charged with arson. A search warrant affidavit says Lague told investigators he bunched up a canvas drop cloth and used a Bic lighter to start the fire.
The report also says Lague was having financial difficulties and said he was frustrated with "constant problems" associated with the house.
No one was living in the home, which had no furnace and flooding in the basement.
At the time of the fire, Lague was living with his son in a south Fargo apartment.
