KENMARE, N.D. (KFGO-AM) - The first in a series of weather systems moving across North Dakota over the next couple of days left its mark on Kenmare, northwest of Minot Sunday night and early Monday.
The National Weather Service says a narrow band of snow fell on the town, totaling 14 inches. Lesser amounts were reported 10 to 15 miles away. The weather systems will bring snow, sleet and rain through at least Thursday.
National Weather Service meteorologist Patrick Ayd says not much accumulation is expected in the Red River Valley, maybe up to a quarter inch.
