MOORHEAD (KFGO-AM) -- Downtown Moorhead will see major road construction this summer with a $10-million project.
Pavement will be replaced and turn lanes, rail crossings and sidewalks will be improved on 8th st. Main and Center avenues will also see significant work. Asst. City Engineer Tom Trowbridge says traffic disruptions should be minimal.
Other work includes hwy. 75 south of 40th ave. and a late summer state-project on I-94 between Moorhead and hwy. 336.
Statewide, MNDOT will spend $1 billion on 290 projects.
