FARGO (KFGO-AM) -- A wide scale power outage affected a lot of Xcel Energy customers in Fargo. It was estimated more than 3,800 customers were without power beginning around 10:30 a.m. Thursday.
Xcel's Mark Nisbet says the outage was believed to have been caused by high winds. The outage knocked out traffic lights from at least Main Avenue to around 32nd Ave S. Drivers were urged to use caution.
