DETROIT LAKES (KFGO-AM) -- There was a big drug bust in Detroit lakes Friday night.
Officers from the Lakes to River Drug and Violent Crimes Task Force, Detroit Lakes Police, West Central Drug Task Force, Paul Bunyan Drug Task Force, Becker County Sheriff's Office, Minnesota State Patrol and DNR executed a search warrant at a home in Detroit Lakes.
Police Chief Tim Eggebraaten says 3 people are in custody after police and drug agents raided a home in Detroit Lakes. Nearly 20 ounces of methamphetamine worth up to $85,000 was seized, along with six guns, ammunition, assorted coins and drug paraphernalia.
Two people were arrested at the scene and a third was taken into custody Sunday. The names of those arrested will be released after the Becker County Attorney's Office reviews the reports and determines if charges will be pursued. Eggebraaten says all 3 are adults from Detroit Lakes.
