FARGO (KFGO-AM) - An unexpected delay for more than 150 passengers on a United 737 bound for Chicago from Anchorage, Alaska which diverted to Fargo because of a medical emergency.
The plane landed at 3:30 a.m. Monday and was met by paramedic's who transported the passenger to the hospital. Airport Director Shawn Dobberstein says the jet was unable to resume its flight because all of its on-board medical oxygen was used treating the ill passenger. The jet off-loaded passengers about 2 1/2 hours after landing while they waited for another United flight that was sent to pick them up.
