CLAY COUNTY, MINN. (KFGO-AM) - Police are investigating after a large fire broke out Sunday morning at Woodbridge Park in Dilworth. It burned a big area of grass before fire crews could put it out. The flames did get near a number of homes surrounding the park. Neighbors say they think kids playing with matches started the fire.
Fire crews knocked down two grass fires in the Glyndon area Sunday afternoon. Authorities say a woman was burning leaves when the flames, fanned by strong winds, spread out of control and started the first grass fire. Another grass fire burned around 200 acres near Buffalo River State Park.
