GLYNDON, MINNESOTA (KFGO-AM) -- Glyndon Police are investigating an armed robbery at the Petro Serve USA. It happened around 10:30 p.m. Friday.
Police say the store was robbed by two white males wearing ski masks. One of the men had a gun, the other a trailer hitch.
The robbers made off with about $350. They may have fled in a yellow car.
“Usually, when they come into rob a store they come in with a handgun,” said Glyndon Police Chief Michael Cline. “It's not very often they enter with a trailer hitch in hand."
Cline has been Chief since 1997. “We've had burglaries and things like this, but this is the first time that we've had an armed robbery of a business that I know of,” said Chief Cline.
