MOORHEAD (KFGO-AM) -- The Red Cross is assisting residents of a Moorhead apartment building after an early morning fire.
The blaze, at 1302 19-and-a-half St. so., was reported at around 2:30am Sunday. Most of the damage was held to the unit where the fire started, but other residents were temporarily displaced.
The Red Cross set up a service center to help the apartment residents at the Fryin' Pan restaurant to determine how many of the 22 people who live in the building needed temporary housing.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
