FARGO (KFGO-AM) -- There are now six people running for an open seat on the Fargo City Commission in this April's special election.
Cole Carley, the retired longtime President and CEO of the Fargo Moorhead Convention and Visitors Bureau, is the latest to announce his candidacy. Carley says he has a "very unique perspective" that sets him apart from the crowded field of candidates.
Water is one of his top priorities. He says Fargo needs the diversion project and a reliable, future source for water. Carley considered running for City Commission last June but decided not to. He says the time is right now.
