BISMARCK, N.D. (KFGO-AM) - The city of Bismarck is holding a human rights essay and poetry contest for students.
The contest organized by the Bismarck mayor's human relations committee is open to students in fourth and fifth grade, as well as in sixth through eighth grade. The essays and poems are meant to foster awareness about human rights among the students.
One essay and one poem from each age level will be selected. The outstanding entries will be recognized during a ceremony in April and will be displayed on the city's website.
Entries must be postmarked or emailed by March 13th.
