BROOKINGS, S.D. (KFGO-AM) George Marshall scored 20 points, Cody Larson added 11 more to go with 12 rebounds and South Dakota State pulled into a first place tie atop the Summit League with a 68-58 win over North Dakota State on Saturday.
Deondre Parks also finished with 11 points and Reed Tellinghuisen had 10 for SDSU (19-8, 10-3), which controlled the boards 41-27 to extend its series advantage over the Bison to 12-6.
North Dakota State (18-8, 10-3) took its first lead of the second half with a 3-pointer from A.J. Jacobson to make it 50-47 with 7:53 to go. Parks sank a 3-pointer at the other end and followed it up with two more to spark a 15-4 run that gave South Dakota State the lead for good.
Lawrence Alexander led NDSU with 24 points, Jacobson finished with 14 and Carlin Dupree had 10.
