VERGAS, MINN. (KFGO-AM) -- A BNSF train clipped the back end of a semi hauling an empty grain hopper as it crossed some tracks near Vergas, Minnesota Friday afternoon.
The semi driver wasn't hurt. He told Otter Tail County Deputies he didn't see the train. He also said he was worried that if he stopped he wouldn't make it up an incline due to icy conditions.
There is a stop sign at that crossing.
