GRAND FORKS (KFGO-AM) -- Grand Forks Police arrested 8 men for trying to hire a woman for sex.
Police got 40 responses after placing an ad on backpage.com. Those charged showed up at a local hotel and were met by a female undercover officer.
The following men were taken into custody:
Dustin Hiott, Jason Peterka, Jeloni Hudson, Liban Adan, Mohan Magar, Nicolas Gonzalez, Jr., Scott Anderson, William Selby, Jr.
All 8 were charged with hiring an individual to engage in sexual activity, which is a Class B misdemeanor. The maximum penalty for prostitution is 30 days in jail or a $1,500 fine.
