GRAND FORKS (KFGO-AM) - A Grand Forks family has been displaced by fire.
Firefighters responded around 5:30 p.m. Wednesday to the home on the city's south side, at 221 Windward Hills Avenue.
They encountered heavy smoke and fire inside. The fire spread to the attic and caused major damage throughout the first and second floors. No one was home. The cause is under investigation.
