MOORHEAD, Minn. (KFGO-AM) - A Moorhead man who illegally provided tattoos to minors will spend 45 days in jail. Ralph Curiel pleaded guilty to four misdemeanors. As part of a plea agreement, eight additional charges were dropped.
Prosecutors say Curiel used a professional tattoo gun and provided the tattoos in his Moorhead apartment.
Curiel must also pay restitution for victims who want the tattoos removed. Clay County Attorney Brian Melton says restitution is expected to cost Curiel thousands of dollars.
