FERGUS FALLS, MINN. (KFGO-AM) -- Great Plains Natural Gas customers have been told that they can resume normal use of natural gas after the weekend announcement that supplies were running low following a pipeline rupture and explosion south of Winnipeg.
Great Plains serves Crookston, Vergas, Pelican Rapids, Fergus Falls and Breckenridge-Wahpeton. Customers were asked to lower their thermostats and reduce gas usage during the supply disruption.
Great Plains has about 23,000 customers. Its a division of MDU Resources.
