FARGO (KFGO-AM) - The City of Fargo has a lot of construction projects on the drawing board this year. The work includes street construction, lift stations, watermain and storm sewer replacement.
City Engineer April Walker says there are more than 70 projects totaling $146 million. That's about the same number of projects as last year but that work totaled $263 million.
Walker says because of numerous problems last year that delayed completition, the engineering department was directed to look at more manageable projects.
One major project, a $10 million makeover of nearly a mile of 13th Avenue South in the West Acres area that was scheduled this year has been delayed for at least a year.
