A cab driver escaped injury after an attempted robbery in south Moorhead late Monday afternoon.
The suspect, 37-year old John Country, was arrested a short time later after a police dog tracked him two blocks to an apartment laundry room, where he was hiding.
He's charged with robbery and assault.
The driver was roughed up during the incident but didn't require medical attention.
Police say Country didn't get any money from the cabbie and didn't have a weapon.
