BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) Members of the public are being asked to provide input on historic preservation goals and activities in North Dakota for the five-year period starting in January 2016.
The North Dakota State Historic Preservation Office and the State Historical Society of North Dakota are accepting public comments through July 1. A survey can be accessed at https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/WLYR28C .
Officials say a periodic update of a state's comprehensive historic preservation plan is a federal requirement for participation in the National Historic Preservation Program. The program makes money available to states for various history-related efforts.
