Jangula was a key blocker on good Bison teams, including the 2007 team that beat Minnesota and went 10-1. He was named all-Great West Conference that season. Perhaps his best-known individual moment came in 2006 when he caugh a 17-yard touchdown pass from Steve Walker in an NDSU victory over FBS Ball State, but was lost for the season when his knee was injured on the play.
Funeral arrangements will be announced.
