WAHPETON (KFGO-AM) - A review of the operations of the Southeast Multi-County Agency Drug Task Force recommends minor changes in the way it conducts investigations but did not find any wrong-doing in the handling of the Andrew Sadek case.

SEMA used the Wahpeton State College of Science student as a drug informant after he was caught selling small amounts of marijuana on the NDSCS campus.

Sadek disappeared last May and his body was found in the Red River in June, killed by a gunshot wound. Tammy Sadek believes her son was murdered for being an informant. She pressed for the review. She says it reveals nothing important and leaves a lot of questions unanswered.

Among the changes recommended in the report: Adding a task force supervisor and stationing a BCI agent in the Wahpeton area who would sit on the board. SEMCA is one of the few drug task force groups in the state that operates separate from the Attorney General's office.
