BISMARCK, N.D. (AP)  North Dakota's state income tax booklets have been mailed, but most taxpayers won't be getting one.

The state Tax Department says 33,300 booklets were mailed last month but only to people who filed paper income tax returns last year.

Last year, a record 85 percent of North Dakota income tax filers used a computer instead of paper tax returns.

A decade ago, fewer than half of North Dakota income tax filers used electronic filing.

The Tax Department says electronic filing means fewer errors and quicker tax refunds.
