FARGO, N.D. (AP) - The average retail price of a gallon of gasoline in North Dakota has fallen 15 cents in the past week.
GasBuddy.com reports that prices average $2.08 per gallon. The national average has fallen about 5 1/5 cents in the past week to $2.12.
The average price in North Dakota is about 63 cents lower than a month ago, and $1.12 lower than a year ago at this time.
The lower prices at the pump are tied to falling oil prices. AAA North Dakota spokesman Gene LaDoucer tells The Bismarck Tribune that gas prices typically start moving higher in February and March as refineries switch to more expensive summer blends. But he says until oil prices bottom out, it's hard to say what gas prices will do.
