FARGO, ND. (KFGO AM) -- More dangerous weather is headed for the F-M metro area and parts of eastern North Dakota and northwest Minnesota.
The National Weather Service has issued a "Blizzard Warning" from 6:00 this morning until 3:00 this afternoon.
Meteorologists say conditions will worsen from north-to-south, just before daybreak and continue poor through mid-afternoon.
They also emphasize that this is a ground-blizzard situation, so the travel conditions in sheltered areas like towns and cities will likely be much different than those in open country.
Strong northerly winds at 25-to-40 miles an hour, combined with our new coat of light, fluffy snow will create those blizzard condtions.
That will also result in wind-chills of 25-to-45 below.
Some of the communities included in the "Blizzard Warning" are Fargo-Moorhead, Wahpeton-Breckenridge, Detroit Lakes, Fergus Falls, Valley City, Lisbon and Mahnomen
