GRAND FORKS (KFGO-AM) Bitter cold and dangerous windchills linger across the region. A wind chill warning remains in effect until noon Wednesday and another storm system is brewing.
The National Weather Service has issued a blizzard watch from Thursday morning through Thursday afternoon for the northern Red River Valley, basically along and north of Highway 2 from the Devils Lake to the Bemidji area.
KFGO's Terry Spies says travel in those area's Thursday could be difficult with ground blizzard conditions due to new snow and wind gusts to 50 mph.
Wind chills will also once again develop Thursday night into Friday for much of the area.
