LARIMORE, N.D. (AP) - The state patrol has identified a Larimore High School student who was killed when the bus she was riding in collided with a train east of Larimore.
The Highway Patrol says 17-year-old Cassidy Sandstrom, of Emerado, was killed Monday after she was ejected from the bus. The crash also killed the bus driver, 62-year-old Max Danner, of Gilby.
The patrol says seven girls between the ages of 5 and 15 and five boys between 6 and 16 were injured.
Ten of the students were taken to Altru Hospital in Grand Forks. Officials say four people remain in the hospital. Three of them have been transferred to other facilities and three of them have been released.
The crash remains under investigation.
