BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) - The Morton County Sheriff's Office is awaiting the autopsy results of a body that was found outside a vehicle last week.
Morton County Sheriff Kyle Kirchmeier says the autopsy was ordered because the cause of death of 51-year-old Victor Newberry was not immediately recognizable. He says no foul play is suspected at the moment.
The body was found around 2:30 p.m. Saturday outside a vehicle near Glen Ullin.
Newberry's next of kin, who live in Georgia, have been notified. Kirchmeier says Newberry lived in Glen Ullin but was new to North Dakota.
