BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) - A Bismarck native will lead a marching band comprised of 125 high school seniors from across the nation as they perform at half time during the U.S. All-American Bowl in San Antonio, Texas.
Col. Timothy Holtan is the commander of the U.S. Army Band "Pershing's Own."
Holtan graduated from Bismarck High School in 1973.
Holtan was honored as alumnus of the year by Bismarck State College in 2001. In 2006, he was inducted into the Bismarck High School Hall of Fame.
