FARGO (KFGO-AM) -- Christmas just got brighter and more comfy for thirty-seven children in the F-M area. They received free beds from Slumberland Furniture.
Knights of Columbus members made the deliveries Monday morning.
Store General Manager Derick Vettleson says Walmart donated sheets, Hope Lutheran Church put together care packages for them, and mother and daughter duo, Shirley Hill and Vicky Meyer, once again made home-made quilts for all the beds. Slumberland works with the Salvation Army to find children who need new beds. It's the 20th year of the program.
