Minot, N.D. (AP) A Minot man accused of raping a teenage girl he befriended on Facebook is scheduled for trial next spring.
24-year-old Corey Costa is accused of befriending the 14-year-old girl in 2012 when she lived in Canada. When she and her mother moved to Minot, Costa allegedly drugged and raped the girl at his apartment.
He has pleaded not guilty to a Class AA felony gross sexual imposition charge that carries a maximum punishment of life in prison without parole.
Judge Gary Lee has scheduled a five-day trial beginning April 6th.
