FARGO (KFGO-AM) Fargo Police say some people were injured and a gun was discharged during a disturbance early Sunday but how it happened is still not clear.
Officers were called to an apartment in the 1700 block 40th Avenue South after a resident reported a bullet came through his wall. Police found 3 people in an adjoining apartment who had been beaten.
Lt. Joel Vettel say the victims claim as many as four people, one of them with a gun, forced their way into the apartment, demanded money and then assaulted them before leaving with a small amount of cash and a handgun owned by the man who lived in the apartment.
Vettel says it's uncertain who fired the weapon and he says other parts of their stories are inconsistent. A spent bullet was found in the next door unit. The victims refused medical treatment.
