MOORHEAD (KFGO-AM) -- City of Moorhead budget problems are taking a toll on public facilities.
The library will be hit hard by a funding shortfall. Beginning February 1, a $41,000 budget shortfall will force the library to cut five staff members, reduce hours and close on Sundays.
Hours will also change. Most days, the library will open an hour later and close an hour earlier. Monday through Thursday will change from 9a.m. to 9p.m. to 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday will go from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. to 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
