MOORHEAD (KFGO-AM) A Moorhead man was arrested early Friday morning after leading authorities on a wild chase that started in Moorhead with a traffic stop and ended a short time later in Fargo.
Police say Jason Marinucci, 29, scuffled with a Moorhead police officer during the stop after the officer discovered a quanity of marijuana and meth in his car. Marinucci ran on foot but was able to get back into his car, and drove to Fargo where he crashed into fencing, a parked vehicle and then a tree. Marinucci ran again but was caught. He was taken to Sanford for treatment of injuries..
Marinucci is facing more than a half dozen charges including drug possesion and felony fleeing in a motor vehicle.
