Fargo, N.D. (AP) Theater B in downtown Fargo is set to present during the upcoming holiday season a play that explores the nature of faith.
The theater will present "Storefront Church'' the final piece in John Patrick Shanley's "Church and State'' trilogy. The play opens November 28th and runs through December 27th.
"Storefront Church'' is a comedy set in the wintery Bronx Borough in New York, where bankers threaten foreclosure, a disillusioned preacher has lost his faith, and a modern-day scrooge yearns for redemption.
Thrown together by a mortgage crisis, an ethically conflicted, fictional Bronx Borough president and a high-minded preacher who's a hurricane Katrina refugee from New Orleans square off in an intense confrontation about their individual commitments to their social and spiritual beliefs.
The play is being directed by Patrick Carriere.
