Watford City, N.D. (AP) Two people have been arrested in connection with the shooting of a Texas man in Watford City.
Police say that 27-year-old Pacer Coleman, of Alvarado, Texas, was shot in the face at a motel early Saturday. He was taken to trinity hospital in minot where a hospital spokeswoman says he is in critical condition.
Coleman was able to tell police the first name of the woman he says shot him. Twenty-one-year-old Kimberly Pomeroy is facing a class a felony for attempted murder along with two felony drug charges.
Police have also charged Kevin Kelly for tampering with evidence and hindering law enforcement, both felonies. Kelly is also facing two felony drug charges. An attorney for Pomeroy was not listed Monday night. Kelly's lawyer did not immediately respond to an email request for comment.
