WENDELL, Minn. (KFGO AM) -- A weekend fire heavily damaged a furniture and cabinet making business in Wendell, Minnesota, southeast of Fergus Falls.
It's believed a spark from a grinder ignited some materials and then spread.
The owner and his brother were inside at the time, but made it out safely.
Fire Chief Chad Biss says firefighters managed to save an adjoining building.
Fergus Falls, Elbow Lake, Tintah, and Fairmount, North Dakota firefighters were among the eight area departments that responded to the blaze at Valley Woods.
The state Fire Marshal's office will make the final determination on the cause.
The owner, and 3-5 part-time employees worked at the business.
