Bismarck, N.D. (AP) Republican Kevin Cramer has earned a second term in the U.S. House of Representatives.

The 53-year-old Cramer defeated Democratic Challenger George B. Sinner and Libertarian candidate Jack Seaman.

Cramer will continue alongside Republican Sen. John Hoeven and Democratic Sen. Heidi Heitkamp in North Dakota's congressional delegation.

The 61-year-old Sinner, who was elected to the state senate in 2013, is a Fargo banker and son of former North Dakota Gov. George A. Sinner. He blamed Cramer for supporting Tea Party initiatives to kill the farm bill and support the government shutdown.

Cramer said he worked with members on both sides of the aisle to pass agriculture legislation and end the shutdown.

Seaman said he ran because people are sick of partisan bickering.
