FARGO (KFGO-AM) Slumping sales are catching up with one of Fargo's biggest employers. Case-IH says it will lay off 40 employees at its plant over the next two months. A company spokesperson says those affected are full time, hourly workers.
The company cites "market conditions" for the cuts. The lay-off's are expected to be complete by the end of the year.
According to the Greater Fargo/Moorhead Economic Development Corporation, the Case plant in Fargo employees just over 1,000 full time workers, making it the fifth largest employer in the F-M metro.
