Bismarck, N.D. (AP) A quarterly state auction for oil drilling rights on North Dakota state land is being held at the state capitol in Bismarck.
More than 14,115 mineral acres in nine counties will be auctioned on Tuesday.
McKenzie County has the most land available for auction, at 9,335 acres. The remaining acreage is located in Billings, Bottineau, Dunn, Hettinger, Mountrail, Renville and Williams counties.
