ADA, MN (KFGO-AM) -- a Crookston man accused of shooting a Norman County deputy near Perley in April has pleaded guilty to several charges, including the attempted murder of a peace officer.
Steven Henderson, 19, entered the plea in district court. Norman County Attorney James Brue says there is no plea agreement and Henderson could face up to 20 years in prison when he's sentenced in Jan. 7.
Deputy Nathan Warner was shot twice, but survived. He was wearing a bullet-resistant vest.
Henderson shot Warner after his brother was arrested during a traffic stop.
